Gregory Konnaris graduated from Frederick University with a BSc degree in Computer Science. Since 2006 he has been working at the Oceanography Center as a Research Scientist.

His main duties and responsibilities are managing the financial expenses and the preparation of documents for tenders by providing support to the research team.

He also participates in scientific cruises and aids in the deployment and installation of oceanographic equipment (CTD, ADCP). He is also a part of the centre’s diving team (he has completed the NAUI Open Water & Advanced Scuba diving course, the Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) diving course, the Divers First Aid (DFA) for Professional Divers course as well as the Master Scuba Diver course).
