As of 2009, the United Nations has officially declared the 8th of June each year as the “World Oceans Day”! World Oceans Day provides an opportunity each year to celebrate our world ocean and our personal connection to the sea. The theme for the 2009 celebration is: “one ocean, one climate, one future”!
