Travelling arrangements from airport
The Larnaca International Airport (Airport code: LCA) is the closest to the venue area (49 km), and is the main airport in Cyprus.
Ways to travel from Larnaca Airport to Nicosia:
Airport shuttle service

At the Arrival’s Level (lower) you can find the Kapnos Airport Shuttle counter at the Left Hand side of the terminal (when inside looking out). The Kapnos Airport Shuttle stops in Nicosia at Kyrenia Avenue. From this bus stop, you can take a taxi (always waiting outside the bus stop) to your hotel.
One way ticket: € 8.00. Tickets are purchased from the shuttle counter.
By taxi
Cost: ~ € 50.00 per taxi; Costs can be shared amongst people with matching arrival times. You can take a taxi right outside the Arrival Hall.
City Transportation:
Within the city of Nicosia (also known as Lefkosia in greek) there is bus service – OSEL (http://www.osel.com.cy/home-en) and private taxis that you can use to get to your hotel and to the University of Cyprus.
Bus line 150 (http://www.osel.com.cy/route-info-en/1:150) and Bus line 259 (http://www.osel.com.cy/route-info-en/1:259), best serve the University Campus.

Meals
Participants are expected to obtain meals from local food establishments at their own expense. On campus dining facilities are available.
Electricity
The Electricity and plug (outlet) system in Cyprus is the same as in the UK. The Voltage in Cyprus is 240V / 50 Hz. Electricity plugs used in Cyprus are: Type “G” 3-large-flat prongs, and Type “C” 2-round-parallel-prongs.
