The CYBO project is a multiyear project aimed to study the seasonal and inter-annual variability of the general circulation of the Cyprus-SE Levantine basins, Eastern Mediterranean Sea, simultaneously at the coastal and open deep sea areas around Cyprus. The CYBO cruises are aimed at obtaining reliable and high spatial resolution CTD data from a telescopic grid of stations, with 5-10 nm in the near coastal waters of Cyprus and 15-30 nm at the open sea.
